He is an alum of Cal State, Hayward and the Atlantic Acting School. He is currently the Senior Director of Artistic Strategy & Impact at Arena Stage and serves on the board of The Feast, a Seattle-based living wage theatre company. He is a recipient of the Colman Domingo Award, the TBA TITAN Award, the RHE Foundation Artistic Fellowship, the TCG Fox Fellowship, and is a Barrymore and NAACP Theatre Award nominee.
